Specific civil space projects cover industry-leading efforts such as NASA’s Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite R- Series Program (GOES-R), Interior Exploration using Seismic Investigations, Geodesy and Heat Transport (InSight), and Origins Spectral Interpretation Resource Identification Security Regolith Explorer (OSIRIS-REx). MRI will provide support for Lockheed Martin’s projects in the areas of human and robotic exploration and commercial space. The proposed site is the northeast corner of Second Street and Avenue B,as shown on Figure 2, Site Map. This contract is in support of various Lockheed Martin commercial and NASA prime contracts and proposals. The action proposed by NASA consists of the construction and operation of the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory at the Johnson Space Center near Houston, Texas. MRI is one of eight IDIQ teams providing technical services in support of Lockheed Martin Civil Space programs across the country. MRI is a subcontractor to PAE and performs all of the COSS Quality Assurance functions to ISO 9001 Quality Management System standards. Construction of this laboratory is a proposed action by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) at the Lyndon B. MRI is a partner and subcontractor to United Technologies Aerospace Systems (UTAS) on ESOC. We provide complete turnkey support to the NBL/SVMF for all IT and desktop-related services. MRI is a subcontractor to Raytheon on NSOC and is responsible for IT across the Neutral Buoyancy Lab (NBL) and Space Vehicle Mockup Facility (SVMF), including IT security products and services, desktop support services and Data Architecture support. The JETS contract supports the Engineering and Astro-materials Research and Exploration Science Directorates and their customers. MRI is fully integrated into the JETS team and contributes to the success of the JETS contract.
